Sharing the beauty and wonder of nature through my paintings feels so necessary in a world undergoing profound change where animals are experiencing such pressure to survive. I like to challenge my abilities, reaching beyond what feels comfortable and known, to create works I feel proud of, that convey authenticity and truth. My process of creating is largely experimental, growing and changing with my explorations, but always responding to my subject and what I want to say about it using a variety of media, paint and collage.
